Ocone Aglianico del Taburno. 2004.
An unfiltered rockslide of slate and cocoa dusted violets. Spanking some fresh, blackberries and licking a cinnamon stick on the finish. Didn’t really go very well with Pavement, so I switched to Sun Araw and that was much better. A little too ponderous for Pavement. I would feel pretty pretentious right now if this wine weren’t so g-damn delicious.
